madison ave. collective (MAC) is a branding design and website development firm based in the Pacific Northwest. i started working for MAC in 2020 as a part time marketing assistant. since then, i've had the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing and writing projects for the company and for clients.

social media management
one of my main roles as marketing assistant is creating plans for and scheduling all MAC social media posts across all major social media channels. every month i create an overview of the planned posts, then coordinate with a designer to create and modify graphics to fit each week's schedule. i work to plan content in conjunction with the strategy behind emails, case studies, and blogs. i respond to all comments and direct messages.

email newsletters
i work with my supervisor to create a strategy for each newsletter, then coordinate the timeline to bring in writers and designers needed to send out each email. i create the initial outline, finding ways to tie in current client projects with blogposts, case studies, and events at MAC. after the copy has been written and all of the designs have been created, i transer the content into an email newsletter program and prepare to send. after sending, i then monitor the results through analytics and make adjustments to future newsletters accordingly.

client campaign
marketing materials
a local nonprofit worked with MAC to create a campaign to help uprise against youth homelessness, and i worked to create social media posts and marketing materials to spread the word. after designing the "uprise" logo, i created two sticker designs to be paired with the nonprofit's main logo sticker. one of the main marketing materials i helped create a video interview of a young boy fundrasing for the cause. this video became a part of the social media post strategy that i developed. utilizing the campaign's brand guide, i created a visually cohesive grid on instagram sharing helpful fundraising tips and ways to get involved.
